2007
February 23rd Victory Lane played Winterfest at Orchard Hill Church in Wexford, PA with Strangeway, Annasay, Mark This Day, and Escaping Grace.
Early March Victory Lane went to Big Sky Audio in Philadelphia, PA. Nick and Tyler from Play Work Productions were our engineers / producers. They had promised our band many things if we were to record our next EP there. A representative for Rock Star Energy Drinks came to see us in the studio and then gave Victory Lane a sponsorship.
I was working at Cheesecake Factory when my manger Mark told me I had a phone call. It was Jimi and he wanted to know if I knew where our equipment was at. We had been robbed and my brand new guitar was gone as well as Jimi’s brand new bass, and Josh’s classic guitar.
June 7th Victory Lane played at Playr production show at Mr Smalls Theatre. The Morning Light headlined and it was their cd release show. All Time Low (acoustic) was the 2nd headliner. Mark this Day and Annasay were also on the bill. This was the first show for our Northeast tour.
June 10thish Victory Lane went on it’s last tour. We played at Club Drifters again and Jenny came to see me. We stayed at her house after the show. The next morning Jimi said he couldn’t breathe. Jenny’s parents tried helping him, but then we left early so he could go to the doctor. He ended up going to the hospital where he stayed for a few days. Me, Josh, and Pat didn’t know what to do so I rented a hotel room and some cheap beer. We played monkey in the middle and Pat wrestled Josh several times. We went to the hotel pool and played Marco Polo very obnoxiously. By the time Jimi was better we only had one show left and no one, but me wanted to play it so we just went back home.
July I went on my first date with Laura Rose to Giant Eagle. She had a shitty car and she didn’t care and that was probably what I liked most about her. I remember that she had the same phone as Jenny and maybe that was a good sign.
In August I moved to Waldorf Apartments in Ross Township, Pa. This was my first place on my own. They agreed that I could play music, but put me in between the laundry room, the maintenance room, and an abandoned room with what appeared to have a bullet hole in it.
November 7th Victory Lane played a playr production show at Diesel. RC Static was the headliner and Cali AC and An evening Affair were also on the bill.
2008
January 1st Laura Rose’s grandfather died
January I started the year out with a new job at Clear Channel Radio. I was to focus with the station 105.9 the X. I was to sell advertisements and help with promotions. I got a business card and a cubicle spot with a few other employees.
January Abby Baker had over dosed.
Sometime around here I agreed to take in Tony the cat as a temporary adoption, since his previous owner, Laura Rose’s grandfather had died.
March I got my first client at Clear Channel
March 16th I went to see the Pittsburgh Penguins play the Philadelphia Flyers at the Mellon Arena
April I got Fudruckers as a client
May I got Foundation Coal Company as a client as well as 2 others.
June 3rd I went to see Person L at Diesel (Joker Prod show)
In June I came up with a battle of the bands event to be held at Fuddrucker’s parking lot in the Waterfront.
June 14th Leah Zwerver died
Leah Zwerver died in a tractor accident. I rigged a radio contest so that josh and me went to a steerler’s game in Cleveland.

Although the internet was still growing, I was the top sales rep in internet advertising for clear Channel. the regional manager came to my desk and congratulated me.
June 20th Victory Lane played at The Hangout in Edinboro, PA. We played with Punchline, I Am the Avalanche, Margin Art, and In the Day
Quit Clear Channel in July.
At the end of August I moved out of Waldorf Apartments and put my stuff in a storage spot and the trailer that our band used. Tony went to live with my parents and I stayed at different people’s houses. Most frequently Laura Rose’s mom’s house since I was dating her.
I applied to mad mex and chili’s as a server. Both gave me a thumbs up, but I realized if I’m going to wait tables I would make more going back the cheesecake factory. I called and talked to Louis Sandor who said yes. He left as gm right after and I never talked to him again.
In September I started back at the Cheesecake Factory, this time as a server. Abby Ray and Carrie Jenson were in my training class. They had me try foods I never wanted to. I hardest part was that there were so many foods on the menu I never had tried or heard of.
September 14th I went to Cleveland with Josh to see the Pittsburgh Steelers play the Cleveland Browns.
November The Thanksgiving Disaster
The beginning of December I moved to 618 Perrymont Road in Mccandless, Pa. I found the rental through craigslist where I was mostly looking for a place where I could play music. This house was currently rented by a girl named, Francesca who was looking for a roomate. She said I could have the entire basement plus a bedroom so this was my winner.
2009
January 23rd I drove out to Philadelphia for a job interview that suppose to be in Pittsburgh, but only offered me a job in Philly that would eventually be in Pittsburgh. It was an all day journey for nothing.
Me and my family visited my pap who was in a assisted living hospital temporarily. He was excited that Jimi was lifting weights and exercising. I remember him lying in bed asking Jimi questions who was at the foot of the bed.
February 8th My pap passed away in my grandparents home. He died right as I walked in the door and the sounds of my horrified family still haunt me.
February 10th was my pap’s viewing
February 11th was my pap’s funeral.
February 18th I went to Carniege Museum of Natural History with Laura Rose in Pittsburgh, Pa.
April 3rd I went to see Adventureland at the AMC theatre in the Waterfront with Laura Rose. My friend, Joe Forgione had a very small part in the movie.
May 30th I went to see Coldplay with my parents at the Post Gazette Pavilion.
June 15th I took a bus downtown and back to see the Pens Parade for winning the Stanley Cup. I met Jordan and my mom.
June 18th I cut my neighbors grass and then drank scotch with him. He was at least 80 years old. He showed me his guns and told me his war and farm stories. he had an albino dear head.
June 24th – 25th I went camping with Ben, Clint, Pat, and Josh at Nelson Ledges in Ohio.
June 26th I went with Chris White to go kayaking near Millvale. While we were out it started raining and I fell in love with kayaking and being that close to the water.
July 9th I went to see The Composure, Vesta, The Takeover UK, States, and Good Night at Mr Smalls Theatre.
July I went with Jordan and my parents to Snow Shoe, WV to see the Greenbank Telescope. We saw a couple black bears from our car briefly and then I saw a big black bear getting into some trash bins outside the hotel. This was the first time I ever really saw a bear in the wild. I ran up to Jordan’s hotel room and we both out looking for it and then when we saw it we came back inside as a ranger with a truck scared it away. That night me and Jordan knocked all the pool furniture into the pool WWE style. On the way home we went to Seneca Taverns for a tour.
August 28th – 29th I went to Ohiopyle with Laura Rose. We went white water rafting with some strangers, stayed the night with some friends, and then went white water rafting again with them.
September 2nd I went to Cleveland with Laura Rose to see Blink 182 with All American Rejects and Weezer (who cancelled off Fallout boy filled in) at The Blossom Music Center. We stayed at a budget inn, which was exactly that.
September 3rd Victory Lane had one of our last practices. We had a little after party where I stayed on Perrymont.
September 8th I went to see the Pittsburgh Pirates play the Chicago Cubs.
October 1st I went to the Rock N Roll hame of fame in Cleveland with Laura Rose
October 17th I went with Jake Zaiger to see the Pittsburgh Penguins play the Tampa Bay Lightning at Mellon Arena
October 30th I went to the West Virginia Penitentiary with Laura Rose for Halloween.
November 1st I went with Josh to see the Penguins play.
Towards the end of November I went over to Randy George’s apartment in Observatory Hill and we jammed for the first time.
December 2nd I went to see Pitt play Duquesne with my parents at the last basketball game to ever be played at Mellon Arena.
December 4th I waited on Matt Cooke, the pittsburgh penguin and his family
December 28th I had a food run shift that I had to released and call off from. I was informed that the house I was going to buy was not going to be approved through FHA loan. This was because of a nearby radio antenna. I went to the location and did some field math to calculate that they were correct, the house was in the fall zone. I went to Wendy’s and got a spicy chicken sandwich meal. I ate it somewhere down near northside or troy hill. I remember calling my mom to tell her and she was very angry at the bank for not catching it sooner. She called them and they waived a fee for me.
I asked Clint, the landlord if I could stay longer and he said it was ok, but I had to leave before a family from Tennessee was coming to move in.
2010
I found a new house that I wanted and met the woman selling it. Josh, my agent did not help me find this home. The woman Mrs. Hodgkiss was very nice. She asked me about my life and what I wanted to do in life. She told me about her plants and the yard. They accepted my low offer because she felt good about me buying her home.
The FHA was still being a pain and said that to be approved; a railing needed added and a fence needed painted. The owner paid to have a railing installed and I had to paint the fence. Since it was winter this was not possible so Josh Brackman and Andrew Greissman came over and helped me take it out in the high snow.
February was one of the biggest snow storms of my life. the largest in my adult life at this point. It snowed from a Friday night into a Saturday. That Saturday morning The Cheesecake Factory closed because the raods were so bad. I spent all morning digging out the driveway.
February 28th I bought my home at 815 Geyer Road Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
The first night in my home I forgot to bring blankets so I slept in a pile of bath towels.
The last thing in the moving truck was the piano Clint (landlord) gave me. I left an organ there. When I was going to pick up a washer and dryer the piano tipped over near the Fox 53 building near my house and it made a huge piano crashing noise. The U haul bounced and got a little air. It had ripped down the side support bars inside of the truck and I had to pay to get them fixed because I didn’t get the insurance.
Started jamming with Brad.
Broke up with Laura Rose on a Thursday in May.
May 22nd I played acoustically with Randy at the death of playr production show at the Lawrenceville Moose Lodge. There were a lot of acts on the bill.
The night before the trip to Maine, Tony got outside and I couldn’t get him back in.
At the beginning August I took my parents on a road trip to Maine to look for a moose.
We spent a day in Boston walking around the city. We went to the DT Garden, Paul Revere’s house, and a famous cemetery.
I didn’t book any hotels for the trip, we were just winging it. We made it to Portland, Maine and I stopped at a holiday inn to see if we could get a room. They were booked, but I could smell the ocean so I tried to get my dad to get out of the car to smell since he hadn’t ever been to the ocean before. He refused saying that it wasn’t safe to be out there at night.
The night I got back from Maine I went to Giant Eagle on McKnight Road and bought some ham. I saw Vanessa Mutchler and told her about how I was hoping to find Tony and she wished me luck. When I got home. I cooked the ham on the grill outside and it only took about a minute until Tony showed up hoping for some ham.
I went to Troy La Bair and Steph Long’s wedding. There were a bunch of Cheesecake Factory staff there. Spurks, Dan Burda, Laura rose, Angel sipe, Wells, MK, Carrie Jensen, Will, Joe Forgione, and more. It was a great time.
August 28th Jimi and Rachael got married. I was the best man.
2011
February 13th The Mondaze had our first show at Chatham University. I remember feeling a bit awkward, but it felt great. We did songs like Music and Hockey, Bring me Back to You, pleasure and pain, It wouldn’t be so bad, and check your clock.
April 9th The Mondaze hosted and played the Joe Forgione farewell party at Around the Corner Bar. We even wrote a song for him and he joined us on harmonica.
April 20th The Mondaze received our first batch of shirts. They were designed by me and had stick figures on them.
Towards the end of May I started my payment processing portfolio. I rode around with Jimi and we solicited small businesses for our service.
June 6th I got The Flower Market as my first client for my processing portfolio.
The Mondaze did a photo shoot with Andrew Greissman on an island on the Allegheny River. I convinced everyone to bring their gear and we set it up at the top of a wall. It was pretty funny.
July 20th I got Sidelines Bar & Grill as a client
July 26th I got Jack’s Discount videos and Produce, Plus Market, Plus Deli as clients
In August I drove 24+ hours to New Brunswick with my mom and dad. The main goal was to see the Bay of Fundy and Hopewell Rocks. I remember being totally exhausted by the time we were close. I was almost positive I was going to see a moose. The area was rather remote, but the sight seeing was pretty unbelievable. I walked at night into the bay where the tides change over 50 feet twice a day. (highest tides on earth) When I was out it was really dark and I could feel the water creeping on my ankles. Deeply concerned I tried heading back to land as fast as possible, but it being dark made it harder than normal. For a little bit I thought that I might get swallowed up by the ever rising water. After Fifteen minutes of walking from the wetness I made it back and then went to the hotel where my parents were.
Shortly after I got back from my trip I was waiting tables and a table of Canadians were sitting at table 1.

On September 11th The Mondaze went to Innovation Studios to record 2 songs; “Love Bomb” and “Take Me Now” It was a great experience. Mike Ofca was really talented and professional. Both songs turned out great and we had a really good response.
We went to have dinner with Ofca at small takeout restaurant down the street. We stayed the night at Innovation Studios and played drinking games.
September 29th I got JR Productions as a client.
October 28th The Mondaze had a halloween party at the Around the Corner Bar.
November 6th I drank so much water that I felt drunk
November 15th The Mondaze played with Ernie and the Berts and Locksley at The Smiling Moose
November 27th The Mondaze played at Shenanigans with 720
November 30th The Mondaze played at Arsenal Lanes
December 3rd on my birthday, The Mondaze played at Pizza Roma in Ross Township. Mandy was there and she was glaring at all of the other girls who were there as if they were all her enemies. It was awkward, but it was a great time.

Family road trip to Upper Peninsula of Michigan in August.
We went to Pictured Rocks National Park and took a cruise to see the rocks up close. We stayed at a hotel in Munising, Mi that was right on lake superior. The next day we went to Twelvemile Beach that was loaded with beautiful rocks and there wasn’t anyone else there. I walked up and down the beach and put swimming goggles on as I swam in the shallow edge.
We took the Chi Cheemaun Ferry from the Manitoulin Island to Tobermory, ON.
August 31st The Mondaze had our CD Release show at Hard Rock Cafe. 720 was the opener.
September 10th I went into my garage so that I could go drive and get a sandwich and there is a golden retriever panting like a maniac. I didn’t know what it was at first because it was in front of my car.

October 4th I was setting up an ethernet cable at Cole’s Cafe in Shaler. I had to run the line through the ceiling and when I was almost done up front, I was standing on the stainless steel counter not knowing it wasn’t screwed into base. The one end went up and I had to jump off and landed on the ladder / step stool and hit my junk. I was in so much pain and there was a lot of people around.

May 1st I saw a fireball flying through the sky through my living room window. It was confirmed that a metoerite landed in Kittanning, Pa that evening. It looked liked something that took out the dinosaurs.

June 9th Me, Brad, Wassell, and George attempted to kayak down the kiski river. Ivy came along and she was dressed like she was a movie star. We did not make it successfully down the river and most of us got hurt.

Family Road trip around the great lakes in August.
We stopped to hike around Killarney Provincial Park. It was right on Lake Huron and was really neat. There were lots of little islands off the coast that I thought would be fun to kayak to.
I got pulled over by a Canadian police officer for speeding. He let me go without a ticket because I wasn’t going that much over and I told him the signs being in KM vs. mph was confusing.
We stopped at Lake Superior Provincial Park on the East side of Lake Superior. We hiked around and looked for rocks.
The road north of Lake Superior was amazing. You could tell further north was very unpopulated all the way to the north pole. True wilderness.
We stopped at an Amethyst Mine near Thunder Bay, Ontario. They had a gift shop where you could buy it or you could pay to walk around in that area to find it yourself, which we did and it was awesome. I found some purple and red amethyst.
We stopped at Munising, Mi and stayed at the same hotel we did the year before. We also went back to Twelvemile Beach which was just as beautiful.
September 10th I got a new client which was Sigmas Conference Center. It was neat because Sharon had a screen that welcomed me.
September 13th I rented a booth at the Ross Township Community Day and tried to get business, it was a complete loss.
September 18th I got The Pong Guys as a client for a very brief time
September 24th I got the other A.T. Merhaut location as a client
In September I got Hallmark Cleaners, Jeff’s Transmissions, Fairview Cleaners, North Pittsburgh Showcase, and Youngstown Grille as clients
October 3rd I got Digital Doc as a client
October 7th I went to Lauren Becker’s wedding. Josh, Melissa Ballard, and Mauressa Spencer were also there. I got lost on the way there and was late. I pulled into a different party that was at a house and no one said anything.
Went to the Grand Canyon in October when the government shutdown occurred.
We took small plane from Phoenix to Flagstaff. It reminded me of a school bus that started flying. I hated it and was scared for my life.
We stayed in Flagstaff, Arizona for the entire week.
We went to the massive meteor crater in Arizona. It was very windy while we were there and everyone’s hair was pushed to the side. You could feel the pushing of the wind. Someone that worked there pointed out a tiny rock in the middle and said that it was a size of a house which gave us an understanding of how big it was.
We walked up to and climbed on some old volcano rock. It was black and really hard. A ranger came and said they we had to get off of it so we did.
We stop at Red Rocks State Park and hiked a trail. We saw coyotes when we were in the car almost there.
October 11th we went golfing in Sedona, which was beautiful. We were playing a scramble vs. my dad so that we would play faster. Basically the better of Jordan or my shot. The course guard came out and told us that we had to speed up twice, so we ended up not even playing. It was weird, but clear he didn’t want us playing so I went to their office and told them exactly what happened. They apologized and refunded me. I didn’t care since it was still beautiful, but so much for a fun, enjoyable game of golf.
We watched the pittsburgh pirates play in a playoff game on tv from our hotel room. It was the first playoff game they played in since I was a kid. They won the game although they were eliminated afterwards.
On the last full day of being there, the parks opened back up and we got to go to the Grand Canyon. We were one of the first people there super early in the morning. since it had been shutdown for a while it became a little more natural. We saw a herd of mule deer in the parking lot when we got there. They were running and it was pretty neat. We looked over the canyon and walked around the rim. It was insanely big. Me and Jordan quickly hiked into the canyon and went as far as we could go. I thought I would be able to get close to the bottom, but after a couple hours it seemed like we had gone no where. so we turned around and went back up before it got dark. When we were in the canyon everything seemed to have a green look to it at one point. Me and Jordan yelled and listened to the echoes, and we saw a deer. I commented to Jordan about how many we would find some grand canyon babes down there.

August I went to Nova Scotia with my parents and Jordan.
Our flight got delayed due to bad storms so we had to wait most of the day at the airport. We eventually flew to Toronto, Ontario, but had to wait until the morning for next flight to Halifax. The airlines covered our hotel and taxi ride. The driver had a nice car and drove us to our hotel where we stayed for less than a handful of hours until we had to head back to airport.
We went to Peggy’s Cove where the one famous lighthouse was. It was really neat and probably the most people we saw at any of the destinations for the trip.
We went down to Brier Island and went whale watching in the morning. I was wearing sandals and my feet were freezing. I kept going into the little bathroom to warm them up. If anyone was watching they probably thought I had to use the bathroom a lot. It was the closest I ever was to humpback whales while doing any tours. We saw a lot of whales that trip.
We stayed at a bed and breakfast which was really creepy. jordan and I stayed in a bedroom with 2 small beds with heart pillows and little teddy bears.
We went sea kayaking with Coastal Adventures. Anthony, who was one of the owners took us out. Jordan and my mom were in one kayak and my dad and me were in another. Anthony was by himself. We saw the sister rocks and made it to a rocky beach for some lunch that he had prepared. On the way back a big fin popped out of the water and Anthony said ” It’s a shark”, but he did not seem scared as he crept closer to get some pictures. It ended up being a porpoise. My heart was beating out of my chest.
We dropped Jordan off in Halifax and headed to the northern region of Nova Scotia.
I remember my eyes almost hurting from staring out the window in the car for moose.
We made it to the very top of Nova Scotia and looked out into the ocean. It was a really neat little fishing town with little houses. It felt like you were back in time looking to edge of the world.
August I saw 4 moose while hiking skyline trail off the cabot trail. Cape Brenton Highlands Park.

October 11th I discovered my oven stopped working so I put a baking sheet on the top of the oven and covered a pizza with a pot to cook it.
October 14th I got the Rock Room as a client

October 16th Me and Jordan took my grandma to the meadows casino in Washington, Pa.
October 20th I got American Chiropractic Center as a client
October 24th I got The Rusty Barrel as a client
October 25th I got TP & Salon as a client
November 12th I got Julie’s Pet Salon as a client
November 17th I got Large Plain and Steel City Tire & Auto as a client
December 2nd Riegler had a get together where they sang happy birthday to me.
December 3rd on my birthday I went to visit my granny’s grave and I wrote and played a song for her. Afterwards I met up with Missy at Kretzler’s Tavern for some drinks.
December 7th I got Blue Moon on Butler Street as a client
December 12th I got Lakevue Athletic Club as a client
